Scenario 1: Recycling in Milton Keynes

This project is based on a new business, recently set up to deal with recycling in Milton Keynes. Organisations (schools, businesses, etc.) would pay for the collection of waste, much of which is sold (as recycled raw materials)  to manufacturers.  The project will look at using ICT to promote the aims of the recycling business to organisations in Milton Keynes. You will need to develop the most effective means of promotion and consider alternative approaches.

Scenario 2: Elephant Conservation Charity

This project is based on a new charity, recently set up to highlight the issue of diminishing numbers of Elephants (and their habitat) in Africa. The charity is funded from donations from individuals and organisations.  The project will look at using ICT to promote the aims of the charity to people and organisations in Milton Keynes. You will need to develop the most effective means of promotion and consider alternative approaches.


Project work for both scenarios will need to include reports on each of the following:
i.    The Hardware and Software I have Used
ii.    Comparing the Use of Input and Output Methods and Devices
iii.    User Guide / User Documentation
iv.    Testing and Evaluating the Documentation
v.    How the Use of ICT has Benefited my System
vi.    The Social, Economic, Legal and Moral Effects of ICT.
